Academic dress or academical dress is a traditional form of clothing for academic settings, primarily tertiary and sometimes secondary education, worn mainly by those that have been admitted to a university degree (or similar) or hold a status that entitles them to assume them (e.g. undergraduate students at certain old universities). It is also known as academicals and, in the United States, as academic regalia.

Contemporarily, it is commonly seen only at graduation ceremonies, but formerly academic dress was, and to a lesser degree in many ancient universities still is, worn on a daily basis. Today the ensemble generally consists of a gown (also known as a "robe") with a separate hood, and usually a cap (generally either a mortarboard, a tam, or a bonnet) which are distinctive to each institution. Academic dress is also worn by members of certain learned societies and institutions as official dress.

Q:	Where can I get my graduation gown, cap and tassel?
A:	All Caps and gowns, from kindergarten to college. Graduation attire (bachelors and masters) may be ordered on-line
Q:	Can I return cap and gown or graduation accessories?
A:	No, unless previously arranged, graduation regalia is considered formal wear or costume wardrobe. Reasonable exchanges will be made. We will make every effort to be sure that your order is correct, however, items are non-returnable. Custom orders, and personalized orders, no-return and no exchange.
Q	Can I buy the items individually?

A	All you need to do is enter your actual height and weight. Measure from the top of your head to the floor with shoes
Q	How will I know what color tassel I need?
A	The color of the tassel is based on the degree of which you are receiving. Please see Graduation Regalia for the color
Q	How are the gowns sized?
A	The size of your gown is based on your height.
Q	Will I be able to measure the gown myself?
A	Yes, it is very easy!
Q	How are the caps sized?
A	The caps are basically small medium large and extra large. You can measure in inches around the crown of your head
Q	How long do graduation orders take?
A	Typically, your order should be ready within 2 business days to be shipped from our location. Check with us, up to 6 weeks
Q	What are the gowns made of?
A	All of the gowns are made of polyester.
